about
a native of the pacific northwest, I’ve made my home in olympia, seattle, spokane and points inbetween (also spending a brief period exploring las vegas in the mid-90s). having grown up watching “up all night” on the usa network, I naturally enjoy b-horror films.
it’s important to preface this blog with a singular concept – these are my opinions, rantings, perspectives, etc, and as such, are subject to change. I typically write a post whilst watching the film, and I rarely edit my posts to a degree befitting a published author. a lot of the time, it isn’t until I’ve seen any given film any number of times that I form any real type of definitive feeling about it. truly great films all share this in common – they are complex, multi-layered pieces of art that are open to interpretation.
don’t have time to read a lengthy blog? why not check out flixsation’s new “flix:distilled” one line film review section? feel free to add your own!
